Bill Knight attended high school in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and then married his high school sweetheart, Rozann, and moved to Detroit to work at Ford Motor Co. They then moved to Denver, back to Detroit, and then to Tulsa in November 1998. Bill started working at Don Thornton at Tulsa Auto Collection, moved to Penske Automotive Group, and eventually started Knight Automotive, which he has been President of since 2008. He and his wife now consider Tulsa their home.
Bill is the 2025 Tulsa Regional Chamber Chair, past chairman of the Board of the Directors of the Tulsa Better Business Bureau, member of the VisitTulsa 2.0 Campaign Cabinet, 2025 Outstanding Corporate Philanthropist among many other awards and recognitions.
Bill spends his free time with his four grandkids attending weekend sporting events, and playing golf when his schedule allows.
